Sisters of Fariba Amani, 47, from Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada are saying they want the United States Federal Bureau Of Investigation (FBI) to keep the case of their missing sister open.

First reports of the woman overboard from a cruise ship were vague, saying only she was in ther 40s and from Canada. Sisters Sahel Amani and Salley Armani said they feared from Fariba's life, before she left on the cruise with her boyfriend.

Amani was on a two-day Bahamas vacation that began with a cruise aboard the Bahamas Celebration then onto Grand Lucayan Radisson Resort on Grand Bahama with her boyfriend, Ramiz Golshani, 46, who reported her missing.

Golshani said the two parted ways aboard, he went to bed around 0100 hours and Amani was suppose to follow. He told investigators when he awoke at 0800 hours, she still had not come to bed so he reported her missing.

Celebration Cruise Lines said the crew searched the cruise ship to no avail, Amani wasn't found.
